Re: unable to remove blank space above the first staff
What happens when you select the first staff and move it toward the top of the page? Menu Draw/Staff, click on the top staff, or right-click on the top staff and select "staff". If you have the Consort Edition, F9 moves all staves together.

Re: Staff Size
You probably did it right. It should print as you intended. Try printing to a pdf file as a test. Musette keeps the screen staff height the same for ease of editing, but the staff length changes proportionally. As you make the notes bigger, fewer notes fit on a line, making the line appear shorter o...
Re: Repeats
Hi Paddy, You did everything correctly. The usual convention following DC or DS is to omit repeats. I'll look at adding a configuration option in a future version to play repeats following DC or DS. For now, a possible workaround would be to duplicate each section with copy and paste and omit the re...

Using Windows Volume Mixer, I set both volumes to 50% and alternated playing the Musette and midi file. With this setup, ...

In Windows, right-click the speaker icon on the right side of Window's taskbar at the bottom of the screen. Select "Volume Mixer" and adjust the Volume Mixer window so you can see all the volume sliders. Check the "speaker" volume setting, usually the first volume slider on the l...

Re: cant open files
Thanks for the file. I attached a screenshot of what I see when I load it in Musette version 2.12.8. The file might not open with older versions. In Musette, click menu "Help/About" and make sure you're using version 2.12.8. You can download the latest version from http://musettemusic.com/...
