I am just beginning with my musette (upgraded), and have some
basic questions:
1. How do I mark tremelo between two chords, say?
2. Is there an "undo" ?
3. How do I force a new line (for all staves in a brace)?
Many thanks,
(any probably many more to come.)
Leo
basic questions - tremelo, undo, and new line
Leo,
1. For now, you can try the "line" drawing tool (menu Draw/Text/Line) to approximate tremolo.
2. No undo yet, so save often. You can use the menu Edit/Cut option to delete a block, and paste it back if you change your mind.
3. The green lines show page breaks. You can drag staves/braces below the line to put them on the next page. The help file has more on this.

A few more questions:
1. Can you make the accidentals at staggered distances
from the main notes in a chord? Otherwise, they may overlap
and be undecipherable.
2. After a line in which there were two repeated sections,
the next brace of staves comes out with repeat dots....
3. How do you make a tie connect more than two successive notes
or chords?
4. How do you make a tie from the end of one line to the beginning of the next?
(5. Am I asking too many questions?....)
Thanks,
Leo

If I recall correctly, I've encountered note behavior in which note stems actually do lengthen to reach a beam--I just can't tell you exactly how. If I'm correct, then trying out all the ways of making beams might yield that behavior.
Beam question: How do I beam four eighth notes together?
I've encountered beam behavior in which I was able to create a four-note beam, but more recently, the beam joined the first two of four together, and the last two. I had to do some major experimenting to join the middle two, then bring the beam precisely in line with the other two.
I've tried beaming four quarter notes in order to make four beamed eighth notes, and also tried beaming four eighth notes. I did not record exactly what I did, and as with much of what I've tried, I keep trying out ideas until I get familiar enough with the tool to begin to remember what I did.
